Come see your local artists in their working environments that are not usually open to the public. The LBOST is a free, self-guided, at your own pace, event. There is no ticket to buy. All you need is the Tour map that can be found around town at local businesses, coffee houses, and merchants, or downloaded from the website. New this year, the tour is extended over three separate weekends. The studios west of Cherry Avenue (names in red) will be open October 13 & 14. The studios east of Cherry Avenue (names in blue) will be open October 20 & 21. The weekend of October 27 & 28 is for artists who opt to open their studios for a second time (names with **).

On a quarterly basis, Neighborhood and Business association representatives are invited to receive information from East Division staff for sharing with their respective members.  At the meeting we will provide information and answer questions that can be passed along to your respective members.  The EPAC meetings are tentatively scheduled to occur on a Tuesday evening every three months, and are intended for Neighborhood and Business association representatives (or their designee) only, as we have limited space available.  Future meetings will be scheduled for January, April, July, and October.

Don't miss our horse-drawn wagon at the annual Belmont Shore Christmas parade!

The Belmont Shore Christmas Parade will march down East 2nd Street to the beat of over a dozen local marching bands. Featuring over 100 entries, including floats designed by Long Beach businesses and associations, marching bands, and local personalities and dignitaries. And of course, no Christmas Parade would be complete without an appearance by good ole’ St. Nick! The parade route is along East 2nd Street and begins heading east from Livingston Avenue to Bayshore Avenue. Entries return to Livingston Avenue heading west along the north side of East Second Street.

    Concert in the Park

    You are invited to a community concert on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 6 PM to help Long Beach State Athletics Department kick off the basketball season with the Men's and Women's teams. The concert, featuring The Reel Band will be held at Marine Stadium Park. The teams will be available to sign autographs and take photos with concert attendees. We will have an obstacle course and basketball challenge inflatable as well as food trucks. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a fun-filled, family-oriented evening under the stars. 

    The Reel Band is one of the most entertaining musical groups around. They enlighten the stage with their presence and high energy, bringing you the best of R&B, Hip Hop, Latin, Salsa and Old School Funk.
