Each event is led by FOCL naturalists and all necessary tools are provided. Closed-toe shoes are required for restoration events.

Los Cerritos Wetlands Public Habitat Restoration Event

Come celebrate Earth month with us! Serve your community and your planet, while having fun doing so! Join us for our April public service day Saturday at Los Cerritos Wetlands on April 6th, from 10:30am- 12:30pm. We will meet volunteers at the corner of 1st St. and Pacific Coast Highway in Seal Beach. From there, an event leader will escort you to our restoration site at Zedler Marsh. The event will consist of planting native plants us while bonding with community members and enjoying the beauty of Zedler Marsh. Please come prepared with:Closed-toe shoesSun protectionWaterGloves, shovels, and all other materials will be provided. Native plants we will install are grown in our onsite native plant nursery. AND... there will be a prize giveaway for those who can correctly answer questions about the Los Cerritos Wetlands!

Do you work full-time and don’t know what to do with your kiddos this summer? Do you want to keep the screen time to a minimum and avoid the dreaded ‘summer slide’? Do you just want a couple hours of ‘me’ time? 
Over 30 summer camp providers, for kiddos from Kinder to 8th grade are going to be in one spot on March 31st! Some are brand new, some are veterans of our Lowell event. This is your opportunity to come chat with providers, get your questions answered and the kids will have a blast running around checking out all the activities.

Help us spread the word and invite your friends and neighbors. The 11th Annual Lowell Summer Camp Fair is open to all!
