I have lived in Belmont Shore for the last 7 years, and in Long Beach for the past 10 Years. After graduating from Cal State Long Beach, I decided to stay in Belmont Shore and loved it ever since. The greatest thing I love about the Shore is you can park your car over the weekend and not drive anywhere. There are so many things to do that make it so enjoyable. This is a great place to live and I feel that businesses and residents should be able to work together.

I've lived in Long Beach since 1973.  We have lived in our house since 1975.  We love the Shore for all it offers. Our Son and Daughter both attended Lowell Elementary, Rogers Jr. High and Wilson. Summer time they attended camp at the Bay.  As a result of their positive experiences of growing up in the Shore they have both decided to raise their families here. I grew up working with my parents in our family garment manufacturing business in downtown LA as a  office manager and full charge bookkeeper for 25 years. I Managed an OB/GYN office in Long Beach for 15 Years. Since 2010 Co-Owner with my son Jason at Quinn's Pub and Grill on Nieto off 2nd Street.

Retired Science & Math Teacher/Facilitator. My husband and I have lived in the Shore for more than 36 years and have always loved it as a walking community with plenty of biking, kayaking, shopping and eating available to us.   We love the mix of  people on our street, the Shore and Long Beach, who are different in ages, education, race, gender.  We have a beautiful area with a vibrant business district, the bay, the ocean and all the recreational and social activities that occur  in our small community.

The sun, sand, shore and enjoy walking to dinning shops. I love all the great eateries, the wonderful people, and all the choices of shops. Just love Belmont Shor

I love Long Beach and all the wonderful communities we have but Belmont Shore is my favorite. When I was 9 years old, my parents bought a boat and we spent every weekend skiing in the Marina Stadium and from there we spent the afternoon's in Belmont Shore. Every summer, I always remember my mother taking  us to the Bay. I knew when I started college as soon as I graduated I wanted to live in the Shore and I have been here ever since., Guess what I love it more then ever. Not only do I live here, but I work here sharing with everyone this wonderful community. We have it all: beach day, shopping, dining, bike & walking paths, plus the most beautiful sunsets. Also, I must say I have met some of the most wonderful people here. I truly feel so blessed to live in such a great place.
